The advantage for this structure was they would know what you were talking about, however, it heavily depended on the staff`s professionalism. Some guys might underestimate your expectation for they had never experienced the excellent services by your standards. They encouraged customer to contact them via instant messenger like Live Messenger and Skype though they offered live chat support. 3 Product Reviews Tomtop.com: Only Game Console Accessories is OK?They tried to be a comprehensive wholesaler by offering more items, thought some item were less attractive than other sites. Never buy item on tomtop.com unless it was listed on its alibaba store. We found some game accessories might be their focus.
Cell phone? Just skip! Cell phones were everywhere. The category “Branded new sell phone “was 100% refreshed second hand item or “copy-cats” with low qualities. For example, there was only 1 kind of Blackberry selling in China but China was the No.1 destination for second hand Blackberry. The individual workshop clean and retreaded them. Then, the looking-new Blackberry would be packed and ready for sale!
Similar categories included video games. (Nintendo did not sell Wii in China; they even did not provide any Chinese language interface for Wii. You can see the same story with Blackberry) The game console accessories was another story. 4 Conclusion: Facts lie thereIt was obviously that tomtop.com pretended to be a qualified supplier for game console accessories. That was why it only listed game console accessories on its alibaba profile. Considering the high margin and risk on selling fake brand items, they setup tomtop.com as the portal for those products.
Buyers for game consoles would also buy other electronics or goods. It became more and more clearly that their logics and strategies were: - Keep fundamental game console accessories still to win reputation
- Used the 4 year good trading histories as an advantage
- Selling fake item on its own site without jeopardizing its fundamental business
They could get more traffic, win the new visitor`s trust and make more money.Does it matter that they were a 4 year verified member in the largest b2b site? I don`t think so. Scam is found. Facts lie there.
