Dinodirect Review: Scam,Complaint, Shipping & Products issues; also its team

When Father’s Day approached, I want to buy a gift online. Dindirect.com was one of the sites on my shopping list. The online buzz could not give me enough confidence to buy on Dinodirect.com.

The management team

Feng Jianfeng, the CEO of Dinodirect.com, had run several companies, including software and e-commerce site for game items:IGXE.com.

How about their Services? Scam and Complaints issues

I assumed that dinodirect.com should have more understanding of the west standards. Google just gave heavy slams when I searched “dinodirect scam” “dinodirect complaints”. There was quite a lots of the users complaint that their order was not well handled. The delivery might takes up to 20 days or more, so the buyer need to wait and waited.. and wait... and wait for a long time. As far as the online customer were concerned, Dinodirect often claimed to deliver your goods but it could never happen as their order processing was slow.

Dinodirect.com lay in Chongqing city, a western China city. The location brought little advantages for their sourcing for Chongqing was not top manufacturing cluster. They still need to pass the order their sourcing dept, which might locate in Shenzhen or Hongkong. Sometimes, the location mattered.(Update: In fact, Dinodirect had relocated their logistics center to Shenzhen,which lots of other Chinese wholesalers located)

Products

Dinodirect.com adopted the low price strategy and always offered amazing deals. The reason for their low prices should also related with its location - the average salary and offices rent in west China were much lower than those metropolitan in east china.
Most of the products were quite good, but the shipping and delivery just ruined everything. It was found that customers order phone accessories such as batteries. They often could not receive what they order exactly. (Their boss only have experiences in delivery virtual item on the internet game, never knew the complexity and importance of shipping)

Online Reviews

It was not a secret that Dinodirect has its own review posting guidelines. DinoDirect read all reviews before posting them and might reject some reviews if not Dinodirect friendly.

Finally, I just changed my opinion on their management team – they have no difference with the other Chinese wholesaler.
