Pickegg.com Review: can you pick it as your supplier?

Most Chinese Wholesalers will start their cross countries business by selling electronics. Pickegg.com is the new electronics wholesaler I dig out.

Why is called Pickegg.com? Background?

I really want a dinosaur egg, especially a T-Rex egg, after the <<jurassic park>> premiere. I took this pickegg.com as a gift selling site when my friend referred it to me.  It seemed that they just want to imitate Newegg.com and give you the brand image: yea, we are just another Newegg.com, we are selling electronics, not Easter eggs.
The contact us page also list 4 location No. New York, UK, Hongkong &. Most of the No. are using forwarding services according to my research.

In fact, pickegg.com is just another Wholesaler from China. Just see its profile in alexa.com: most of its traffics are from China, specifically, all the traffics are generated from the company insight. “The seller has its c2c business in China ebay – taobao.com” My Shenzhen suppliers told me.
Thought I am not able to provide more details of its store, my supplier`s word should be right : just look at site closer, you will find detail specification of the products with not google friendly implementation. (In the eyes of an C2C seller, product is everything, so they will have excellent product description but little online marketing tactic.)

Products

Lots of gadgets, wonderful pictures, but the prices were still not some competitive. I really hope that the item to match what they show on their website.

Site Security

It was really rare for a China online wholesaler had both VeriSign and Macfee secure verified.

At least, this pickegg.com want had a good standard on site security and invest on it. It did not want to list as another cheapo & bloody china wholesaler with suspicious scammer label.

The reasons why I post this newbie seller here are

1 more and more taobao seller would launched their cross countries business by setting up similar sites.
2 more and more Chinese wholesalers would use this way to disguise themselves. – Thought it was totally legal for such kind of offshore operations.

It means we may have more quality supplier, cheaper prices and more scamers.
