In its Chinese website, it shows that it is a company cooperated with Fun Wholesale. Inc, a American company, who authorize China Gifts & Crafts Wholesale CO as its only purchaser in china mainland. After viewing its Chinese papes focusing on attracting manufacturers, I get a whole picture about orientarts.com business model: on the one hand, it persuade manufacturers to become their partners and organize them to join different fairs; on the other hand, it collect market info and seeking for potential buyers. It earns the commission and member fee for living.

Products&Web presence

Orientarts.com claims to have over 300 partner factories in China, they even invest in 12 factories directly—that is an important point, because it means they are trustable in quality and OEM service. Orientarts.com also claims to have 21 produce lines and release over 3,000 items of quality and latest designs annually. but when I enter each term, I just see few product listed out. What is more, orientarts.com page design is so bad, the pictures are so tiny. But, if you cannot find the items you want from their product category, you can enter the custom-made area, and upload the pictures for what you want, such as material, size and craft about the product you need, and they will let our partners to finish the work for you.

Trade terms

The trade terms on orientarts.com is not buyer-friendly, I think so for the several reason except the above points:
1. Min order limitation. Orientarts.com do has a min order, so if you are a retailer, you might not want to purchase from them;
2. Traditional payment method. Orientarts.com doesn’t accept online payment; they have an export team to receive order plan online and contact with buyers and precede order offline.
3. Non-transparent price. Price is not transparent on orientarts.com, if you are interest in it, you should quote with them individually.

But speaking about online trading, it has less experience or spend little effort to better. Orientarts.com still depend on offline business instead of online business.
