And , well, yes they have escrow. BUT their escrow will ALWAYS side with the seller. I purchased tow white gold rings set with diamonds and what I received looked NOTHING like what was in the photos. AND they were NOT white gold, only a silver finish AND they were rhinestones NOT diamonds. Their escrow sided with the seller and refuses me a refund. 1 How to review a seller

DHgate has a ranking system which generates the seller`s trust score. The score shows was leaned on the feek back from the buyer within the recent 60 days . When you click the seller trust score, dhgate will tell you the previous feedback. You can view the comment from other buyer. However, if you want to need the negative feedback, you have to go throw the comment page by page since dhgate do have a filter to list all the negative feed back . You must also review their credibility by clicking the "seller trust score history " tab. If you care about the shipping , you must also read the incomplete order tab.

★Feedback Score & Positive Feedback%: DHgate just modified the ranking system and named it as Feed Back Score, it may use the same logic of Seller trust score. However, it add a new function called Positive feed back %, which is more clear and easy to understand. Just use the Feed Back Score and Positive Feedback% to review the seller.

★Online Check: DHgate also launched a online chat function, so you can chat with the seller and got his feedback immediately.
Just visit their listing pages and click the online Chat in the seller info section. Also you can see the online status of the seller on the search rescult, if the seller is online, it will be marked as "Seller online

2 How to make a deal    

 It is easy! Just press " add to card" , DHgate will lead you to the check out page. It is like other online store. You can check the status and manage the orders after you log in " My DHgate" . Before make a deal, sufficient enquires must be handled. How to communicate with the seller and tell him your preference? Just click the " Ask seller a question " button at the seller info section.

3 How to protect your benefit

New Update 2  Shipping Tips: How to make a smooth purchase and get your item on time

1  Free Shipping” in DHgate.com only apply for those contry that the seller has selected to offer.  For example, the seller may have set “Free Shipping” for the USA, UK, Canada. To see if your country is included in free shipping list, click “Calculate shipping costs” on the checkout page and enter the name of your country.  Make sure that your country was on the list before you buy, or you need to pay extra money.

2 “Estimated Transit Time” is the estimated time starting when the purchase order is dispatched to the reception of the items. The actual delivery time depends on the date the seller dispatches the purchase order and the destination of the shipment. So the best way to guarantee the delivery is to communicate with the seller and check it for sure.

3In the checkout process, shipping cost is calculated on a per item basis and may not reflect the shipping cost quoted by the seller which may be less as some sellers offer a reduced shipping cost for the combined shipping of multiple items. So that is why your shopping cost is showed different.  When you order multiple items from one seller, you can contact the seller to ask for a reduction in shipping cost. Many new user of DHgate may experience dispute with the DHgate seller. When you open a dispute on Mydhgate, you can only complaint by giving the services agent text description. However, DHgate’s has just added a new function for all disputes submitted to DHgate. Now you can upload the evidence related to a dispute within business 5 days of submitting the dispute to Dhgate. Just click the “Provide evidence to DHgate” button to enter text and upload up to 4 pictures for the disputed purchase order. For providing more valuable review to our visitor, we give snapshot to show how this new function works:

Step 1. Click the “Provide evidence to DHgate” link

Update 4: the whole dispute process

Stage1: Reporting a dispute

There are two reasons for disputes:

• Items Not Received - you can use this if you have not received the item.
• Items Significantly Not as Described - you can use this if you felt the seller misrepresented the item in a way that directly affects the value or usability of the item.

How To report a dispute:

• Log on to "My DHgate".
• Locate the order number in question.
• Click the "Dispute" link of the corresponding order number.
• On the Dispute page, select the problem you want to report.
• Follow the instruction and start communicating with the seller.

Once a dispute is open, the status of the order becomes "Dispute opened".

Stage2: Communicating with the seller

How To communicate with the seller:

• Log on to "My DHgate".
• Locate the order number in question.
• Click the "Dispute" link of the corresponding order number.
• Start communicating with the seller by posting messages.
• You can always post messages by clicking "Continue Response" button.

Situation 1 : Closing a dispute

If the dispute is resolved, you can close the dispute so DHgate can release your payment to the seller.
To close a dispute:

• Log on to "My DHgate".
• Locate the order number in question.
• Click the "Dispute" link of the corresponding order number.
• On your Dispute page, click the "Close Dispute" button.

Note: If you have not closed the dispute within 15 business days, it will be automatically closed. When a dispute is automatically closed, you are not eligible to submit a dispute to DHgate, and your payment will be released to the seller.

Situation2  Approving a dispute resolution

In some cases, the seller may submit a resolution. In this case, you will read the details of the resolution on the Dispute page. Once you approve the resolution, DHgate staff will process the order according to the approved resolution.
To approve a dispute resolution:

• Log on to "My DHgate".
• Locate the order number in question.
• Click the "Dispute" link of the corresponding order number.
• On your Dispute page, you may see a dispute resolution submitted by the seller. If you are satisfied with the resolution, click the "Approve" button.

Before a dispute resolution is approved, the status of the order is "Pending approval on dispute resolution". However, after the dispute resolution is approved, the status becomes "Agreement reached; pending DHgate to follow up".

Situation3: Submitting a dispute to DHgate

If the dispute is not resolved within 15 business days, you can decide to escalate the case by submitting it to DHgate. By doing so, you request DHgate to be an impartial judge.

• Log on to "My DHgate".
• Locate the order number in question.
• Click the "Dispute" link of the corresponding order number.
• On your Dispute page, click the "Submit to DHgate" button.

Once a dispute is submitted to DHgate, the status of the order becomes "Dispute submitted to DHgate".

They even had the ebay logo on them. We know for a fact that if any one tried to buy our products from them they will be ripped off, as we do not supply we make and we sell only. Further, all the feebacks are fake, they have ripped it off ebay and the usernames are not real, in fact the more i have asked around the more people tell me that you will lose your money on this site and fast, the goods in most cases are not for sale by these people through "drop shipping". It is no secret that counterfeits of electronics pour out of China. DHGate does not verify that the sellers are legitimate. I realize that there is a feedback system, but I do not really trust that system. Especially since a buyer on DHGate gave a seller positive feedback for a fake item, because the fake item was very close to the actual item, therefore the buyer could resell that fake item to someone. If you are looking for cheap items, you may be able to find items that are not counterfeit, but I have a problem trusting the DHGate system. They sell junk and you will lose money. We should have known better, but I was convinced to try it and regret that I did. We bought a replica i-phone. After 2 sms the battery is dead and has other problems. As a rule of thumb, never order from an overseas website because if you lose you can't get your money back. The individual seller said I can return the cell phone, but does not want to give me a return address. DHGate wants me to send pictures and documents that prove that the phone does not work and does not want me to send them the phone for them to look at it. Reply 0   0
